The presentation includes a screening of TEEN TRUTH: BULLY and a motivational speech by creators Erahm Christopher or JC Pohl. Each speaker tells a story about a personal experience of bullying and how one simple action could have changed his life. The presentation was created for students in grades 6th thru 12th. The presentation ranges in length from 60 to 75 minutes depending on the needs of the client. TEEN TRUTH LIVE has reached audiences ranging from 45 to 1200 people. The client should decide what size is appropriate for their needs. We feel 200 – 600 students are ideal sizes. You will need a screen, LCD projector, DVD Player with remote, microphone and an ample sound system. Computer speakers on a cart do not count. We do have an edited version of the film that we traditionally show to 6th graders. It is the same film with the Columbine 911 call edited out. It is our experience that most 7th, 8th, and high school aged students are mature enough to handle the subject matter. We can speak to 4th and 5th grades, without screening the film or talking about school shootings. We simply focus on bullying and how they can make a difference at their school. We ask that you send home a parent letter alerting parents to the fact that these issues will be discussed. The price is currently $2,000 USD. The cost includes one day of presentations (maximum of 3 per school day), a copy of TEEN TRUTH: BULLY and a 35-page workbook/curriculum created for the film by experts. The film and curriculum is distributed by Human Relations Media, a leading distributor of educational videos. Some locations may require modest travel and lodging fees. Most competing programs charge $3,000 to $6,000 and some of them cannot even reach your entire student body. That said, we are filmmakers first, and that is why we have priced TEEN TRUTH LIVE at $2,000. It is our hope that this price is below market value when compared to competing nationwide programs. However, there are ways to decrease the cost. We often run promotions on our web site page and through our email mailing list. We also allow smaller schools to partner up with a sister school on the same day. Additional costs for the second school can be anywhere from $150 to $500 depending on the situation. If you are able to help us book multiple schools in your district we can possibly discount your rate or travel costs. Each school and location is different, but we want to work with you to make this happen. This issue is too important for money to be the reason to not host TEEN TRUTH LIVE.
